Ben Barker successfully completed his first year in car racing by competing in the 2009 MSA Formula Ford Championship of Great Britain. In his rookie year he finished a very credible 8th in the championship, the youngest driver to finish in the top 10 for several years, and a notable 4th in the British Formula Ford Festival 2009. |

His season included a dominating performance at Knockhill where he achieved an impressive 8.2 second win. “I have learnt a lot from Formula Ford and believe I can move on from the experience I have gained in 2009”. |

Ben progressed to racing cars after completing three successful years of British National Karting, the perfect stepping stone into single seaters. |
